Providing an Alternative to Juvenile Incarceration

Our alternative to juvenile incarceration provides at-risk youth with a supportive environment where they can grow, learn, and transform their lives. Camp REES offers a twelve-month live-in program that helps participants aged 16-21 avoid the criminal justice system by giving them the tools they need to succeed. Our staff, many of whom have experienced similar challenges, work one-on-one with each participant to create personalized growth plans.

A military-inspired program, Camp REES will instill a sense of structure and discipline in each cohort, promoting both unity and individuality.The program focuses on education, offering G.E.D. training, job readiness courses, and life skills development. We address the emotional and psychological needs of our participants, helping them overcome fixed mindsets and adopt a new outlook on life. Our curriculum includes anger management, drug and alcohol resistance, and alternative-to-violence programs, all designed to promote a positive mindset.

At Camp REES, we are not just keeping youth out of the system; we are preparing them for life beyond the camp. Our approach ensures that they are equipped with the skills and support they need to transition into adulthood successfully and avoid further entanglement with the justice system.
