Employment Preparedness and Vocational Training

This program is dedicated to equipping youth with the skills and confidence to successfully enter the workforce and build sustainable careers. Participants gain hands-on experience in vocational fields alongside essential employment skills, including resume writing, job search techniques, effective communication, and teamwork. Designed to empower individuals with the knowledge needed for professional success, the program also includes real-world training in time management, interview readiness, and workplace adaptability. With a focus on career readiness and personal growth, this program helps youth take the first steps toward meaningful employment and long-term self-sufficiency.
Participants will be training service dogs as part of Camp REES’ Providing All Workable Services (PAWS) which can be provided to individuals who may be in need of such services/animals. Participants will also engage in other community restoration projects. This serves as a way for each participant to give back to their community and society.
